The Shark Navigator Professional 3-in-1 vacuum comes very highly rated based on the reviews on Amazon, and quite frankly, it is priced as such. The attachments on this vacuum look like they’d really come in handy, and the overall package is attractive, with an aesthetically pleasing white and red color scheme. The control and ease of steering provided by the swivel joint should be pretty good, and having a lift-away pod to clean the tighter spots has to be useful, along with the pet hair tools. Although, one downside of the lift-away pod cleaner is that it is not cordless, so that limits it’s real mobility somewhat.
The vacuum claims to capture 99.99% of dust and allergens, and while this sounds like an impressive number, it seems pretty par for the course, most every vacuum seems to make a similar claim. I’m pretty sure that’s just marketing rhetoric. Additionally, you have to buy the warranty and it’s not cheap at all, adding a significant cost to the total.
Overall, the vacuum seems well designed and like it wouldn’t be too heavy or unwieldy to use with a pretty compact design. Many people have compared it favorably to a number of different Dyson models, and as Dyson is a well-known and respected top of the line vacuum, that really bodes well for this vacuum. Also, reports seem to point towards the Shark Navigator Professional 3-in-1 being very quiet, especially when its considerable amount of power is taken into account.
To sum up, if you’re looking for a nicer vacuum and just simply don’t want to get Dyson for whatever reason, then this seems like a good enough of a choice to me. It’s powerful, has some useful features, is highly reviewed, and when compared to Dyson it seems to offer a good value as it undercuts the prices of the entire Dyson line, even the factory reconditioned stuff. This vacuum is a good buy and has satisfied the overwhelming percentage of people who have bought it, so I recommend it fully.
