FAQ
Is this blog just for mothers, or is the information relevant for fathers too?
We hope that the information will be relevant for all parents. The name of our blog refers to who the authors are, not the audience. We love our rational dads and will have a monthly post from a guest dad.
If we have ideas for posts how do we get them to you?
You can email us at: rationalmoms@gmail.com
What do you mean by “rational” and skepticism and why are those good things?
We refer you to an essay by Carl Sagan that appears in his book The Demon-Haunted World.
“I think skepticism is most valuable when seeking and evaluating information. Doubting claims that might prove harmful seems to be one good reason for being skeptical. Being willing to investigate claims rather than accept them on faith is a virtue. Requiring evidence and logical reasons is recommended.”
We refer you to Brian Dunning of Skeptoid and Skeptic Magazine, who can say it better then we can.
