I agree that it’s not really a statistic you can prove, but I still think the point it makes is pretty good. And Mari’s Mom, I just posted the link. But a threat not to read our blog doesn’t really bother me too much. Feel free to not read…I guess you won’t be reading this comment, so you are probably already off somewhere feeling free.

Assigning a body count to Jenny McCarthy seems like a really bad PR move for pro-vax. I like the idea of informing the public about how many preventable deaths there have been. But, I think this is sensational, inaccurate and makes us look like jerks.

This is ridiculous, not rational. You are calling her a murderer for speaking what she believes to be true. It is up to people to be “rational” and do proper research. Not all the people who died chose not to vaccinate because of Jenny McCarthy–or is there proof that this is the case, which would be “rational”? These people may not have been vaccinated for all kinds of reasons.

Also, you can’t blame people for choices other people make directly like this. We have free will.

I just found your blog today and was thinking that I liked your approach, then I saw this, and well, I guess this is not the place for me.

BTW, we vaccinate our children.
